Easy Bread Recipes
Welcome to my collection of easy bread recipes!
Breads. For this queen baker, I'm in love with them. When I make any kind of bread, even in my family of eight I manage to eat the largest portion. I love what I bake.
And I bake what I love.
Which would be everything from muffins, quick breads, pancakes, rolls, to tortillas and even breadsticks. I'm even working on adding gluten free breads to the mix!
So I hope you'll find this page a useful one to refer back to often; because I guarantee you, every one of the easy bread recipes I post here has been tested by my family and given a "thumbs up" before being shared with you!
With each of these easy bread recipes, remember to:
~Grease and flour your pans prior to pouring the batter in. If you're making muffins, use paper muffin cups. For breads, grease liberally.
~Do the toothpick test. This involves poking a clean toothpick or knife gently into the center your bread or muffin. If it comes out gooey, it is not done. If it comes out clean, it is!
~Allow your breads to cool. I used to think this rule was balogny. But I have learned the wisdom of letting breads and muffins sit in their pans for ten minutes. Not only does it cool them down, but it allows the breads to settle and firm up, making removal or slicing easier.
~Remember that dark pans cook faster. When you use a darkly colored baking dish, it absorbs the heat faster, which cooks the bread or muffin more rapidly. It took me several years to figure out why my muffins always burned when using that dark pan!
~Use a greased knife to slice breads. If you really want your breads to look picture perfect, thinly grease your knife with butter or shortening before slicing. It cuts through easier and reduces the crumbling. Refresh your knife with more butter every few slices.
But anyway, without rambling any further, here is my collection of easy bread recipes. I am always adding new ones, so be sure to check back every now and then.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
This is a great one to make during the fall months because it's so autumn-ish. They're moist and quite inticing. And just so good!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
One of my friends gave me this recipe a few years ago. It sure beat the banana bread recipe I already had! This is not your typical dry, crumbly bread, either. It's moist and full of chocolate chips.

Banana Muffins With Glaze
Banana bread on steroids! The glaze really makes these muffins outstanding. And it also makes them look more impressive.
Another yummy version of banana bread!

Gluten Free Banana Chip Muffins
For all of you gluten free people, here is a delightful recipe that is really, really good. I promise. It has become one of my "trusty" recipes because it always turns out great, every time.

Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
These don't exactly qualify as easy, I have to warn you. But they are the most incredible cinnamon rolls I've ever had. (That's a maple glaze on top there....looks good, right?) Start them the night before for a yummy breakfast the next day.
